The movie features a young aspiring director played by Alia Bhatt, whose love life has taken a turn for the worse. She has been unable to find the right man to share her life with, and she’s been acting irrationally to save her relationship. The film follows her as she seeks the help of her new life coach and therapist, Jehangir Khan, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
The movie takes place in Mumbai, Goa and the South, and follows a talented young cinematographer named Kaira, who is desperate for love. Kaira is a woman who craves love but keeps running away from it. Fortunately, she is rescued by a world-class therapist, Dr Jehangir Khan. Amid the story’s love triangle, the supporting cast of Dear Zindagi is excellent.
Despite the bumpy ride, Alia Bhatt’s performance in Dear Zindagi is truly path-breaking. The actress is on par with the top performances of ‘Udta Punjab‘ and ‘Highway‘. Alia Bhatt is completely natural in the role, and Shahrukh Khan is equally good. The film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar, and Angad Bedi. Aditya Roy Kapur is a welcome surprise.

Dear Zindagi is a delightful and heartwarming film directed by Gauri Shinde. It is a refreshing take on life with powerful performances and the film defines the character of Kaira well. The supporting cast does justice to the characters. But the film would not be as great without Shah Rukh Khan. We will not spoil it by discussing the film’s flaws or the performances of the other leads.

Although the film is racy and offers some controversial topics, the film manages to make a statement with its themes.
