The central character in Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir – alcoholic surgeon Kabir – is a believable and sympathetic figure. The film is replete with lovable performances, and the film is very reminiscent of Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. Though it deals with social issues, the film is enjoyable if you’ve experienced love. Otherwise, it might not be for you.

But while Kabir may be a good student, his impulsiveness and inability to control his temper are the primary problems.
